The aluminum on these is way sturdier than the plastic originals I had on my old truck, and both posts threaded in without any fuss. Nice to find replacement parts that actually fit a discontinued model.
Ordered these as spares after stripping the plastic posts on my old truck, and the aluminum is a huge upgrade. They bolted straight into the existing holes with no drilling, and the threading felt clean the whole way down. Two in the pack means I've got a backup sitting in my toolbox.
Wasn't sure these aluminum mounts would match the originals, but the holes line up dead on and the metal feels way sturdier than the plastic ones I'd been running. Two in the pack means I've got a spare for when I inevitably strip a screw.
